Visual Merchandiser

The new Swedish footwear brand Myrqvist is expanding and is therefore looking for a Visual Merchandiser to be a part of the team, contribute with creativity and develop our communication. 

Myrqvist was founded in 2016 with the ambition to produce classic Goodyear welted shoes of the highest quality but thanks to a modern business structure we can keep our costs down and make our shoes available for everyone. This is made possible by cutting out all the middle men. For us that means that every step from the creating and designing of a shoe to selling it to our ever-expanding customer circle is done by us at Myrqvist. All the design, product development, concept building and sales is managed by us at our office in the central of Stockholm whilst the production is done by our factory in Portugal. In recent time, Myrqvist has developed fast, grown significantly and has been mentioned in different magazines such as the Swedish business magazine Dagens Industri as well as in fashion magazines such as GQ and King Magazine. We are now looking for a new team member who is ready to contribute with whatever it takes to make sure that Myrqvist is able to take its next step on this exciting and joyful adventure.

About the role/employment

As a part of a small, energetic and fast-growing team this role will be wide with various tasks where we all help each other out to guarantee best possible outcome. In your role as Visual Merchandiser at Myrqvist you will be fully responsible for the creation and coordination of the company’s aesthetic profile. This includes being responsible for the concept and management of our store in Stockholm, running our social media accounts and produce content such as pictures and articles. An example of a task would be to plan, style and execute a conceptual photoshoot with our photographer. As Visual Merchandiser at Myrqvist you would act as the company’s creative and communicative face towards the public. This would be combined with working in our store in Stockholm. A rough distribution of time would be 50% work in the store and 50% work at the office..

Who you are

We would like to see that you have previous experience or a great interest and knowledge about the fashion and/or shoe business and we would like to see that you have experience in working in a store. You should pay attention to quality, details and design. In your way of working you should be precise and meticulous as well as positive and engaged.

For us it is very important that you are driven by a creative passion to create content of various sorts that goes well with our customers and is following the company’s aesthetical profile – which you are a part of creating.
